Another week over – nearly at the end of feb already!

• Been having a bit of a painting frenzy here at the studio. Someone bought one of Chic’s paintings – a very colourful, surrealistic swallow, which obviously left a hole on the gallery wall. So he set about filling the gap with, you guessed it, another swallow! This time a bit more subdued, in browns with a hint of gold (yes actual gold acrylic! makes for a nice effect, just catches the light every now and then). He also did a real nice heart with wings in the same sort of colours which now sits at the top of the studio stairs – for sale obviously! Ben has also been painting like mad, but we’ve yet to see the fruits of his labours! Apparently he’s painted over it more than a few times! He’s becoming a bit obsessed actually – even getting up in the early hours ‘cos he can’t sleep for thinking about adding a certain bit! Having got a Guy Aitchison book for christmas he’s bursting with enthusiasm. We’re waiting anxiously here to see what it’s going to be like – we’ll keep you posted

• Women – why do they interfere? Beats me! If I want bikini bottoms displayed the wrong way round I will OK!

• It’s all birthdays here too – next week see’s Levi reach legal tattoo age – 18 at last! She’s bursting with excitement about being tattooed on wednesday. She’s getting a woman with a skull face and roses down her ribs – good luck with that! We’ll have a pic up next week…
